As an integral part of the Blueprint Design System team, I contribute to the evolution and consistency of our design standards. My UX expertise has grown through hands-on experience, industry conferences, and workshops. In the past 5 years, I have earned a Nielsen Norman Group Interaction Certification and a Luma Facilitator Certification.

Blueprint Design System

As a core member of the Blueprint team, I not only help maintain the Design System, but I also work with product teams to design interfaces using the Design System components and patterns.

Home Page Redesign

Redesigned Fannie Mae’s homepage and top navigation to support a strategic shift from consumer focus to business divisions. Research highlighted business team perspectives and pain points, while multiple rounds of Figma prototypes and user testing helped leadership explore and align on the best direction for homepage content and navigation structure.

2021-2024

Property 360

The Property 360 team had the task of consolidating multiple legacy foreclosure applications into a single platform. I joined over a year into development to address UX design debt. Through heuristic evaluation, collaborative whiteboard sessions, and detailed Figma prototypes, I identified improvements and developed Blueprint design system patterns for future use.

Multi-Factor Authentication

As part of an Agile team, I collaborated with the Single Sign-On (FMSSO) team to design the Multi-Factor Authentication experience and provide front-end HTML/CSS implementation. We developed six distinct authentication methods that were individually tailored yet maintained a cohesive experience. Additionally, I contributed to designing the Fannie Mae Authentication App for both iOS and Android.

2022

Certificate Manager

The Enterprise Single Sign-On Team launched an initiative to create an automated Certificate Management system, replacing a time-consuming manual process. I began by interviewing the team to understand existing workflows and mapping user flows to guide the design. Wireframe prototypes facilitated discussions and refinement, while Figma prototypes and five user tests validated our design decisions.

I attended an in-person conference hosted by the Nielsen Norman Group.  Five days of intensive 8 hour Interaction Design courses,  I think I learned an entire semester worth of UX design skills that week.
